The MPHA neighborhood has been divided into 10 Communication Areas.
Each Communication Areas has sub-sections of approximately 50 to
70 homes. Volunteer leaders will collect E-mail addresses from their
Communication Area. The purpose of this project is to be able to
communicate better with Myers Park residents and to be able to forward
important information from the MPHA Board. In time, our newsletter
will be sent as a PDF file, which will save us a great deal on printing
and postage.

In addition to the MPHA Communication Areas, some of these Communication
Area Leaders are also working with the Charlotte Police to establish Neighborhood
Watch programs. Several already have a substantial number
of names and e-mail addresses collected. If you are not on an email
list with one of the above persons and wish to be added to that Myers
Park Neighborhood Communication Area’s Email list, please send your
E-mail address to the appropriate person and you will be added.
This communication program has been operating for about one year
and we are presently communicating directly with approximately 900
people.
