Myers Park is going UnLooped for this year’s 24 Hours of Booty to spark hope for our cancer community. While 24 Hours of Booty won’t be taking place on the Booty Loop this year due to COVID-19, the event is going virtual whereby participants near and far will create their own event experiences in their backyards and neighborhoods. 24 Foundation will still host and livestream the opening ceremonies and survivors’ lap on the Booty Loop at 7PM on Friday, July 24.  This will include the Hendrick Porsche Pace Car rolling out on the loop, followed by our founder, Spencer Lueders riding his bike for a single lap to represent where it all started 19 years ago – one guy riding 24 hours to change the course of cancer. We are discouraging any participants from gathering on the Booty Loop.

Let’s celebrate the participants across the city and our cancer community by bringing 24 Hours of Booty UnLooped to our front yards throughout Myers Park. Get your complimentary Celebration Kit – includes balloons, sparklers, luminary bags/tea light candles, and stickers – to decorate your yard and light up Myers Park to change the course of cancer. Seeing your yard decorated in Orange will bring awareness to the mission though we are not physically connected on the Booty Loop.  To order your 24 Hours of Booty UnLooped Celebration Kit and for pick-up or delivery information, email Lisa Dale by (Sunday, July 19th) at lisa@24foundation.org. (Please include Myers Park HOA in the subject field).  For more information or to register ($25/person) for this year’s event, visit 24foundation.org.

Thank you for embracing the mission of 24 Foundation.  With your help, we are able to fund programs that provide navigation and critical need services for those affected by cancer.

Spark HOPE,

Lisa
