A traditional MPHA 4th of July parade can’t be held this year with food trucks, ice cream, face painting, and live music, but that won’t let our neighborhood down.   More than ever, we need to bring our neighborhood together with of course following social distancing!  We at MPHA want to bring the parade to you this year in celebrating our great country’s 244th birthday!

Our parade will consist of a procession of your patriotically decorated cars (lead by our Grand Marshal, Jack McNeary, and maybe a fire truck) and of course spectators waving on the procession of your cars beaming of red, white and blue attire and decorations.  As always there is no limit to how much you decorate and what!  For spectators: dogs, scooters, houses, bikes and of course yourselves!  And all of this will be noticed by our acclaimed judges!

What, judges?  Yes, we will be looking to give out 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to both spectators and cars.

Prizes will be awarded to:  Most Patriotic, Most Creative and Coolest Car and Spectacular Spectator!

Visit our Facebook page the next day to see if you are a winner and claim your prize!

Look over our parade route below.  We’ll meet with our decorated cars at the Myers Park Traditional School parking lot between 10:00 and 10:15am, leaving at 10:30 with a left turn onto Radcliffe. Spectators, set up your camps along the parade route to join in the festivities!

Start planning your festive decorations early and spread the word!  Whether you are a spectacularly decorated spectator or showing off your car or truck, this will no doubt be an awesome way to celebrate Fourth of July together!
